Beloved Russian Gift of Life supporter Dr. Cyril Geacintov passed away on May 23, 2017 in Summit, New Jersey after a brief illness. He was 87 years old.
He is survived and will be dearly missed by Elke Geacintov, his wife of 37 years, his daughter Elizabeth Guest, son Alexis Geacintov, his brothers Serge E. and Nicholas E. Geacintov and his wife Lydia, granddaughter Natalie Geacintov, grandsons Gregory, Winston, and Ivor Guest, niece Zoya Seubert, and other relatives scattered throughout the world.
Dr. Geacintov was born in Tarascon-sur-Ariège in France. Immigrated to the United States in 1952 and served in the US Armed Forces soon thereafter. He was the CEO of DRG International, a leading specialty medical diagnostics and equipment manufacturer, and distributor with operations in more than 110 countries, based in Springfield, NJ.
Dr. Geacintov was the recipient of the Ellis Island Medal, served as the President of the Russian Nobility Association, and was very active in various charities.
Dr. Geacintov will be greatly missed by the entire Gift of Life community and by everyone whose lives he touched through his generosity and compassion.
