Manhasset Interact Club Raises $5,000 to Sponsor Life-Saving Heart Surgery

Interact is a club for young people ages 12-18 who want to join together to tackle the issues in their community that they care most about. Every Interact club carries out two service projects a year: one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Clubs meet at least twice a month and are sponsored by their local Rotary club.
The Interact Club at Manhasset High School took on the challenge of raising $5,000 at the start of the school year in September 2014.
They sold pizza, bracelets, did holiday gift wrapping at Lord and Taylor, and delivered holiday messages among other fundraising activities in order to donate to Save A Child.
