Russian Gift of Life USA Honors Donors and Volunteers at Swan Club

Russian Gift of Life Executive Director Michael Yurieff presents a Certificate of Appreciation to Angela Lostritto at the 2013 Gift of Life Kickoff Dinner at the Swan Club on Long Island as Gift of Life Board member John Tucciarone and Gift of Life President Mary Reardon look on. Angela helped sponsor life-saving open heart surgery for five-month-old Matvey Agutin and hosted him and his mother Maria in her home while the boy was recovering. Little Matvey was operated at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on January 3, 2013.
The certificate reads: "On behalf of the Board of Directors, we gratefully acknowledge your excellent volunteer service in support of our life-saving mission. Russian Gift of Life USA thanks you and honors you for your unfailing devotion to underprivileged children in need of cardiac surgery. As a devoted volunteer, you have opened your heart and your home to those in need. The love and support you provided to those less fortunate will live in their hearts and ours forever."
Russian Gift of Life President, Dr. Alexander Hindenburg presented a Save-A-Child certificate to Alan and Tatyana Forman, who sponsored six-year-old Viktoria Lukyanchuk from Odessa, Ukraine for life-saving heart surgery in January. 
Also at the Russian Gift of Life table were Wally and Valentina Kowalenko, Maria Hindenburg, Antonina and Eugene Lupenko, and Drs. Gary and Anna Becker.
